The easiest way to make a working model is to use press clips to fasten small clear tubing (like one would use in an aquarium) to a frame of the body, then lead the tubing into a simple pump, think of a bulb type that has to be pressed to make it work, or once again an aquarium pump for the air filter system as long as it's submersion capable. You can also ask people at your local hardware store for ideas.
