Given : Kusumtai bought 80 cookers at ₹ 700 each

:\implies  Money spent on cookers = (80 × 700) = ₹ 56000

Given : Transport cost her ₹ 1280

We need to note that : Transportation costs are included in the Cost Price of the Cookers. Because we are spending money to transport them from the respective store to our store.

:\implies  Total money spent on cookers :

★  Money spent on cookers + Transportation costs involved

:\implies  Total money spent on cookers = ₹ 56000 + ₹ 1280

:\implies  Total money spent on cookers = ₹ 57280

:\implies  Cost Price of Cookers = ₹ 57280

Given : Kusumtai wants a Profit of ₹ 18000

★  We know that : Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

:\implies  Selling Price - 57280 = 18000

:\implies  Selling Price = 57280 + 18000

:\implies  Selling Price = 75280

This Selling Price is the Selling Price of 80 Cookers

\mathsf{:\implies Selling\;Price\;of\;each\;Cooker = \dfrac{75280}{80}}

:\implies  Selling Price of each Cooker = 941

Answer : Selling Price per each Cooker = ₹ 941

\textbf{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}

Kusumtai should sell each cooker at Rs.941 to get a Profit of Rs.18000

\textbf{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}

\textsf{\underline{\underline{Given :}}}

Kusumtai bought = 80 cookers at Rs.700 each.

Transportation cost = Rs.1280

Profit required = Rs.18000

\textsf{\underline{\underline{To find :}}}

The Selling Price per cooker

\textsf{\underline{\underline{Solution :}}}

\starMoney Required to buy the cookers =

\implies 80 × 700

\implies 56000

Overheads = Transport money = Rs.1280

\starTotal Cost Price = 56000 + Overheads

\implies 56000 + 1280

\implies 57280

Selling Price to get Rs.18000 as profit.

\star As we know :-

\boxed{\sf{Profit = Selling\:Price\:-\:Cost\:Price}}

When it is a Profit, SP > CP

\implies 18000 = SP - 57280

\implies SP = 57280 + 18000

\implies SP = 75280

\starCost of each cooker =

\implies 75280 ÷ 80

\implies 941

\therefore Kusumtai should sell each cooker at Rs.941 to get a Profit of Rs.18000
