I need to find out the answer if are doing 45km 750m + 92km 512m

in this case, we first add up the metres. if we add them up we get
1262 m.
as we know 1000m is 1 kilometer.

now if we divide 1262 by 1000 we get,
1.262.
that is 1 km 262 m

now add up the kilometers
that is 45+92 we get
137 kilometers
now in the metres part we got 1 km .... so add this up in the kilometres we get.
138 km.

now the grand total is
138km 262 m
