Dear friend,

 \frac{5x - 4}{8} -  \frac{x - 3}{5} =  \frac{x + 6}{4}

 \frac{5x - 4}{8} -  \frac{x + 6}{4} =  \frac{x - 3}{5}

 \frac{5x - 4 - 2x - 12}{8} =  \frac{x - 3}{5}

 \frac{3x - 16}{8} =  \frac{x - 3}{5}

5(3x - 16) = 8(x - 3)

15x - 80 = 8x - 24

15x - 8x = 80 - 24

7x = 56

x =  \frac{56}{7}

x = 8

Answer. x is 8.

Hope it helps !!!
