Rise of popular "struggles and movements" :

Conflicts of interests is a basic dimension of any democracy. This leads formation of different interests groups with their own set of demands and viewpoints. These differences can be expressed in different ways some of which can be "political or non-political" and can emerge as struggles or movements. These movements can be environmental such as Narmada Bachao Andolan, Social Movements such as Swacch Bharat Abhiyan or political movements such as Swadeshi Movement.  These movements though may be lead by specific groups, have loose organizations and involve large mass of people.
