I need urgent help!! Please answer !! Explain the below statement please. [class xi chapter 2 page 41] “Max Planck arrived at a satisfactory relationship by making an assumption that absorption and emmission of radiation arises from oscillator i.e., atoms in the wall of black body. Their frequency of oscillation is changed by interaction with oscilators of electromagnetic radiation.” In second sentence, what does “their frequency” refer to? And are oscillators in the black body and the oscillators of electromagnetic radiation the same thing?

Answer: here's your answer!!!!

Explanation:

Here 'their frequency' refers to the frequency of atoms in the walls of the black body.

The oscillator in the black body refers to the oscillation produced by the atoms in the walls of black body whereas the oscillation of electromagnetic radiation is made up of quantum (the smallest unit of energy that can be absorbed or emitted during electromagnetic radiation. When electromagnetic radiation strikes any black body then an interaction takes place between quantum and atoms of black body in which quantum 's energy is transferred to the atoms in the walls of black body.
