Answer:

1) Formatting a table means after you create a table you can format individual cells such as row, column , etc.

2) AutoFit is a feature in excel that allows you to quickly adjust the row height or column width to fit the text completely.

So, if you made a table or anything in a cell in a excel and entered data on it , it will spills when the size of the text/data is more than the size of the column.

3) To change the width following below steps:-

Select all columns, press Ctrl + A or click the Select All button. On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format > Column Width. In the Column width box, type the desired number, and click OK.

4)

  • Click the table cell where you want your result to appear. On the Layout tab (under Table Tools), click Formula.
  • In the Formula box, check the text between the parentheses to make sure Word includes the cells you want to sum, and click OK. =SUM(ABOVE) adds the numbers in the column above the cell you're in.

hope it helps you.

Answer:

1. After you create a table, you can format individual cells (spaces formed by the intersection of a row and a column) — or entire rows and columns — by aligning text in cells, resizing columns and rows, and adding borders, shading, or colors. All these changes can make the text inside the cells easier to read.

2. You may also use the Format button in the Cells group of the ribbon to set a specific column width. From the dropdown menu, you will choose Column Width or Row Height and manually type in the size you wish each column (or row) to be.
