Answer- 1. On 21st March and on 23rd September the days and nights are equal because on these days the axis is neither inclined towards the Sun nor away from it. We give these days the name as SPRING EQUINOX and AUTUMN EQUINOX respectively.
2. Largest day in Northern Hemisphere- 22June. Shortest day in Northern Hemisphere-23December. It's largest day because Earth is inclined towards the Sun and shortest day because-Earth is away from Sun.
