1)because the intermolecular forces of solids are strong

2)intermolecular forces are less active than solid

3)intermolecular forces are inactive

GaneshonBrainly: Thank you very much.
ayeshaalam: ok welcome
GaneshonBrainly: Regarding your statement on the intermolecular forces of attraction of gases, are the intermolecular forces of attraction in gases inactive, or are they of a negligible amount?
ayeshaalam: negligible
GaneshonBrainly: Thanks, once again.
ayeshaalam: ok

Because solids are square

GaneshonBrainly: I don't understand.
GaneshonBrainly: However, I have already received the answer to this question. Thanks for the help.
ayeshaalam: what do you mean
GaneshonBrainly: How do solids being square have to contribute to why they expand very little on heating?
