Rs.450 needs to be paid to the milkman.

Given,

Someone purchased 10 litres of milk in the morning and 5 litres of milk in the evening.

To Find,

The total amount of money to be paid to the milkman.

Solution,

The method of finding the total amount to be paid to the milkman is as follows -

10 litres of milk are purchased in the morning and 5 litres of milk are purchased in the evening.

So, the total amount of purchased milk is (10 + 5) = 15.

Now we know that the cost of milk is Rs. 30 per litre.

So, the total amount to be paid to the milkman is (15 * 30) = 450 Rs.

Hence, Rs.450 needs to be paid to the milkman.
