According to the question ;

x + x of 8 % = Rs 5400

⇒ x + x * 8 / 100 = 5400

⇒ x + 2x / 25 = 5400

⇒ 25x + 2x / 25 = 5400

⇒ 27 x / 25 = 5400

⇒ 27 x = 5400 * 25

⇒ x = 5400 * 25 / 27

⇒ x = 200 * 25

⇒ x = 50000

Hence, the price of hair dryer is Rs 50,000.
