I purched a watch for rupee 330 and sold it at a loss of 20%. Find s.p of the watch.

Cost Price of the watch = Rs330

Loss percentage = 20%

Hence, SP = CP × (100 - Loss%/100)

= 330 (100 - 20/100)

= 330 × 80/100

= 33 × 8

= Rs 264

Therefore, selling price of the watch is Rs264

20% of 330

 \frac{20}{100}  \times 330

 = 66

therefore s.p.=₹330-66

 =  > sp = 264
