Let x be the total number of pages on the book.

2x/9 + x/3 + 160 = x

(2x + 3x)/9 + 160 = x

160 = x - 5x/9

160 = (9x-5x)/3

160 * 9 = 4x

40 * 9 =x

x = 360

Let us consider the total number of pages in the book is x.

Total number of pages covered on Friday $=\frac{2}{9} \times x$

Remaining unread pages after Friday $=x-\frac{2 x}{9}=\frac{7 x}{9}$

Pages covered on Saturday is $=\frac{1}{3}\left(\frac{7 x}{9}\right)=\frac{7 x}{27}$.

Total number of pages covered on Sunday = 160.

Therefore, the total pages covered from Friday to Sunday =

$\frac{2 x}{9}+\frac{7 x}{27}+160=x$

$13x + 4320 = 27x$  

$14x = 4320$

x = 308.57 rounding to 309.
