I really need help i cant figure it out.
The center of the circles in the figure above is point O. What's the area of the shaded region if the outside diameter (D) is 36 yards and the inside diameter (d) is 16 yards? (Use π = 3.1416.)

Shaded area =area of D diameter - area of d diameter. =4π(D/2)^2 - 4π(d/2)^2 =4π(18×18 - 8×8) =4×3.1416 (324-64)

=3267.264yd^2.

not confirm about the answer..is it right or not...??
