(a) cost of 12 bananas = Rs 60
- so cost of 1 banana is 60/12= Rs 5
- therefore cost of 8 bananas = 8 X 5
- = Rs 40
(b) cost of 5kg rice = rs 130
- so cost of 1kg rice = 130/5 = Rs 26
- therefore cost of 24kg rice = 26 X 24
