R_{1} = 38cm\\R_{2} = 8cm

Slant height = l = \sqrt{h^{2}+(R_{1} -R_{2} )^{2}  }

Putting the values,

l = \sqrt{(40)^{2}+(38 -8 )^{2}  }

l = \sqrt{1600+900  } = \sqrt{2500}

l=50
