I sae a healthy crop growing in a farm. In the neighbouring farm, the plants were weak. Why do some plants grow better than others?

due to nature of land,soil,fertility,irrigating methods etc., some plants grow better than others

there are many factors affecting the growth , such as quality of soil , well developed irrigation system, use of fertilizers , insecticides, pesticides , etc.
