A wonderful gift
In this world, there are sometimes people who are good but don't show their goodness to anybody. Such people might be seen to others as bad but they are really kind at heart. One among them is my father. The only day I got to know about this is my 13th Birthday which I am going to share with you.
Monday, 23rd January 2020 was my birthday. I was very happy that day. Besides that, my father and mother were both happy and planned to celebrate my birthday with great pomp and show.
But at about 9 am in the morning, thinking myself to be independent for that day, I had not studied even a little. On noticing this, my well-wisher father got angry and scolded me a little and also beaten me. My face complexion totally altered. I became very sad. I studied for about 2 hours. No sooner had I gone to say my father that I have completed my studies than I saw a little year in his eyes. This made me feel quite miserable. But still I ignored that.
At 6pm that day, My birthday party started. All my friends came. Cake was bought. It looked nice and delicious to me. Our house was beautifully decorated. Everybody was there except my father. We waited for him to start the party. After about 30 mins, My mother called him. He said that he was busy with an official work so he couldn't join us.
Then, we celebrated my birthday party. After cutting cake, we had a grand feast together. After feast everybody gave me nice nice Gifts. But I was not taking all these enjoyment because I was worried about my father. I knew he had told lie because Today was Netaji Jayanti so his Office must have been closed so why he told this.
It was about 11 pm, and my father still had not returned. I became very worried. My mother told us to go to bed and she would wait my father.
Before going to sleep, I heard a little noise in our backyard. I went there. There I saw a box. I tried to open it. I was very surprised that it contained a my favourite Laptop which I was anxiously wanting to get. I knew It was my father who had given me that because there he left his I'd Card.
From that I have known that
- We should never judge a book by its cover.
- We should never think your parents as bad and always respect them because they are our only well –wisher It is only the God (Om Namah Shivaya) and Parents who care our needs.
