Answer:

₹1500

Explanation:

Let the cost price be Rs. X

Then selling price at 10% profit = (110X/100)

If the chair is sold at Rs. 75 more then selling price = (110X/100) + 75

So,

15% of X = {(110X/100) + 75} - X

or, (15X/100) = {(11/10)X +75} - X

or, (15X/100) + X = {(11/10)X +75}

or, (115X/100) - (11X/10) = 75

or, (115X-110X)/100 = 75

or, 5X/100 = 75

or, X = (75×100)/5

or, X = 1500

Hope It's Correct ☺️

Answer:

Rs. 187.5

Explanation:

Let the CP be Rs. x

Then, SP at 10% profit=Rs.(110x/100)

=Rs.(11x/10)

And, SP at 15% profit=Rs.(150x/100)

=Rs.(3x/2)

According to condition,

(3x/2)-(11x/10)=75

or, (4x/10)=75

or, 2x/5=75

or, x=(75×5)/2

= 187.5
