I sold two hens for rs. 105 each . On one i lost 25% . On the other i gained 50% . What is the gain or loss on my total outlay ?

Loss% = 25%

So,CP =\frac{SP \times 100}{(100-L\%)}\\CP=\frac{105 \times 100}{100-25}\\CP=140

Case 2:

SP of hen = Rs.105

Gain% = 50%

CP=\frac{SP \times 100}{100+P\%}\\CP=\frac{105 \times 100}{100+50}\\CP=70

Total CP = 70+140=Rs.210

Total SP = 105+105=210

Sp= Cp

Hence There is no gain and no loss
