I Solve the following system of equations by using the methods of
(a) Graphical (b) Substitution
1) x + y = 3, 2x + 5y = 12
2) x - 2y = 5; 2x + 3y = 10
3) x – 2y = 6; 3x – 6y = 0
4) 2x + 3y = 4; X = y + 3 = 0
5) 2x - y = 3; 5x = 2y + 7 34
6) 2x – 3y + 13 = 0; 3x – 2y + 12 = 0

Answer:

I solved by substitution

Explanation:-

1) x + y = 3, 2x + 5y = 12

multiple first equation by 2

then

2x+2y=3

-2x+5y=12

0-3y=. -9

-3y=-9.

i.e 3y =9

y=9/3

y=3

all other also same steps.

substiting valve y in equation 1

x+y=3

x+3=3

x=3-3

x=0
