Let us take total money as x. Therefore, spent money is 3/5x
x  -  3/5x  =   2000
        2/5x = 2000
        x      = 5/2 x 2000
        x      = 5000

Let the total amount of money be x.

Therefore , we have spent 3/5 of x

= 3/5 × x

= 3x/5

Remaining Money =

x - 3x/5

= (5x-3x)/5

= 2x/5

So, According To The Question→

2x/5 = 2000

or, 2x = 2000×5

or, x = (2000×5)/2

or, x = 1000×5

or, x = 5000

Answer→ The Total money which we had is 5000.
