(i). -It takes place with the help of gametes.

-It is biparental in origin.

-It is a slower method of reproduction.

(ii). begin. Most eggs are fertilized by sperm while still in the fallopian tube. Thefertilized egg then travels down the fallopian tube into the uterus. ... Whenthe egg reaches the uterus, it may attach itself to the uterine lining (the endometrium) and pregnancy will begin.
