(i) The area of a rectangular plot is 328 m. The length of the plot (in metres) is one
more than twice its breadth. We need to find the length and breadth of the plot.​

Let the breadth of the plot be x and length be 2x.

Area of a Rectangle is = length x breadth

328 = x(2x)

328 = 2x²

x² = 164

x = 12.81 m.

So the breadth is 12.81 m and the length is 25.62m.
