Using Formula

Curved Surface Area of Cylinder=2πr(r+h)

Now,Let the height be x

By the problem,

 = >  2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 5(5 + x) = 440 {cm}^{2}  \\   =  > 5(5 + x) = 440 \times  \frac{7}{44}  \\  =  > 25 + 5x = 70 \\  =  > 5x = 70 - 25 \\  =  > 5x = 45 \\  =  > x =  \frac{45}{5}  \\  =  > x = 9 \\ so \: required \: height \: is \: 9cm

CSA of cylinder :440 cm^2

radius :5cm

CSA of cylinder=2pie(r)(h)

440=2x22/7x5(h)

440x7/2x22x5=h

h=14cm

height of cylinder=14cm
