4
 x_{Q} =  \frac{1.2 + 2.5}{1+2}   =  4
 y_{Q}  =  \frac{1.2 + 2.-4}{1+2}  = -2
coordinates of Q are (4,-2)
on applying this on the line eqn.

4 - 2.(-2) = 0
So the answer is yes

sony10: other than this method we can use the section formula right...
sony10: use it for getting answer easier... ok

sony10: section formula Q=[lx2+mx1/l+m,ly2+my1/l+m]
sony10: Q=[1(2)+2(5)/1+2,1(2)+2(-4)/1+2]
sony10: [2+10/3,2-8/3]
sony10: [12/3,-6/3]
sony10: [4,-2] next step is
sony10: substituting the values in the equation x-2y=0
sony10: 4-2(-2)=0 => 4+4 is not equal to 0
sony10: so answer is no
sony10: hope this helps
sony10: plzzz mark as brainliest
