The two numbers are 24 and 35

Sum of the angles =180°

So, 3x + 15 + x2 + 5 = 180

5x + 20 = 180

5x = 180 - 20

5x = 160

X=160/5

X=32

a) 20° + x + 40° = 180°

( linear angle)

110° + x = 180°

X = 180° - 110°

X = 70°

b)AB = AC. 180°

<ABC = <ACB. - 132

<DCE = 66°. 48°

<DCE = <ACB

<ACB = 66°

<ABC=66° < x = 48°

Solution

Side of equilateral triangle = 24cm

Perimeter of triangle = sum of all sider 24 + 24 + 24 = 72cm

Let the side of square be x

Perimeter of square = 4x side = 4x

We are given that a wire in the shape of an equilateral triangle of side 24cm is bent into the shape of a square.

So, 4x = 74

x = 18

Side of square = 18cm

Area of square = side = 18 = 324cm

Hence the side of square is 18cm and the area of square is 324 square cm
