  • Blue ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀[3]
  • Green ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀[4]
  • Yellow⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [5]
  • Orange ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀[6]
  • Red ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀[7]

So, the two colours at the extreme ends are orange and red.

How does a spectrum form?

Spectrum is formed due to refraction of light. Light is mainly made up of 7 colours. So, when 7 colours of light enters in our eyes at the same time together, it gives the impression to see white light.

When this while light enters a different medium, refraction of light occurs. Due to which this light gets separated into 7 colours[spectrum] .
