To this quote by Albert Einstein comprehends that, The Buddha Becoming enlightened by the meditation. The very basic reality of meditation is to be living in the present. And in order to be here, it takes silencing the mind. Though, It's true that the mind in it's truest nature is noisy. The mind can never be silent.
The salient feature of a mind is to think, we have the tendency to slow down the rate of which thoughts happens, but we ain't to silence it completely.
Which is why in a deep meditation we have to lose the mind and if once the mind is gone for this moment and this moment only, there'd be the pure silence beneath the soul of the spiritual existence.
It is in this pure silence where enlightenment is found, which is merely the absolute truth to the reality.
Enlightenment is merely finding the real truth, which is found by looking with else beneath, within the silence.
