Area of rectangular park = length × breadth

= (125 × 65) m^2

= 8125 m^2

Since 3m wide path runs outside the park .So the length of park along with

path is 131m and the breadth of park

along with park is 71.

Area of park with path = 131×71

= 9301m^2

Area of path = area of rectangular park with path - area of park

= (9301-8125)m^2

= 1176 m^2

Area of path = Area of big rectangle- Area of small rectangle

Area of path = (125×65)-(123×63)

= 8125 - 7749 = 376m²

Hope this is helpful to you...
