I think of a number and subtract from 5/2 from it . I multiple the result by 8 and the result. I finally obtain is 3 times the same number I thought of the number is -----------​

Given

8 (x - 5/2) = 3x

8x - 11/2 = 3x

8x - 3x = 11/2

5x = 11/2

x = 11/2 x 1/5

x = 110/10 or 11
