The reason for cloud to appear white is -

We all know clouds are collection of water droplets or ice crystals that remain hanging and floating in air. Sun rays, which are white, pass through clouds.

Clouds being made of water particles, scatter the light into it's constituent colours.

But due to presence of large number of water particles, these merge back to give characteristic white colour to clouds.
