I thought how paltry ,how vulgar,what a mean act! I despired myself and the voices of my accursed human education and I thought of the albatross and I thought he would come back,my snake. 1-what did the poet done. 2-how did the poet feel about his act. 3- why does the poet call human education accursed. 4-why did he think of the albatross

1) In the poem, the Snake, the narrator regrets on hitting the snake while it was going home.
2)After hitting the snake, the snake went vigorously into it's home, never to return. This hellish act made the poet regret.
3)The poet finds it difficult to distinguish between his education and his instincts.
4)He compares his real life story with the story of the albatross in the Rime Of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
