I thought how paltry ,how vulgar, what a mean act!

I despised myself and the voices of my accursed human education.

And I thought of the albatross

And I wished he would come back,my snake.

a)the paltry mean vulgar act was that of throwing the log of wood at the snake when its back was turned.

b)albatross is a bird in samuel taylor coleridge's 'THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER'. he thought of the bird because in the poem, the mariner shoots the bird and later regrets his act and longs for the bird's return, the same situation is experienced by the narrator.

c)He despised himself for his meannes and cursed his education and inner voices which urged him to kill the snake.

plz make it brainiest answer and give a thumbs up if you are satisfied =)
