 \textbf{Let the number which you thought was K , }

According to the given information,

( Number is multiplied by 5 ) + 10 = 40

=> ( K × 5 ) + 10 = 40

=> 5K = 40 - 10

=> 5K = 30

 = > K = \frac{30}{5}

=> K = 6

 \mathbf{Number \: \: which \: \: you \: \: thought \: \: was \: \: \: K \: \: and \: \: the \: \: value \: \: of \: \: K \: \: is \: \: 6} \\ \\ <br /><br />\textbf{<br /><br />Hence, Number which you thought was 6.}

Here is your answer⬇️⬇️

Let the number be x.

\therefore{} According to the information,

x × 5 + 10 = 40

5x + 10 = 40

5x = 40 - 10

5x = 30

x = \frac{30}{5}

x = 6

\therefore{} \mathfrak  \blue {6 \: is \: the \: number.}
