I woke up in the morning and I was a bird. I saw a pair of wings grown on both sides of my back. Elated at the transformation, I ran to the roof, stood on the edge and dived into the air. The moment I hurled myself into the air, out of natural reflex, my wings began to flap. I began to fly! I flew beyond the city to the distant mountains. The bird’s eye view of everything below was a new experience.
The houses looked quite tiny; the roads looked like silver ribbons; and the rivers were strips of glass. I flew until the mountains. Finding a tall mountain, I decided to descend and take a rest. It was a beautiful mountain with thick forest cover. I descended very carefully onto a tree and sat on its branches. There were some delicious fruits hanging from the branches; I ate many and was content. I rested for a few hours there enjoying the nature and tranquility of nature.
As it began to get darker, I flew home.
