Pollution is when something is added to the environment that is harmful or poisonous to humans, animals and other living things. When the presence of any natural substance exceeds the normal level, it is considered as contaminant or pollutant. Some common pollutants are automobiles fumes, untreated sewage, industrial effluents, noise beyond 80db. Pollution are mainly of three kinds - air pollution, water pollution and noise pollution.
