i want 5/8% of 600Rs

=5/8 x 1/100 x 600/1

i know this step please someone give me the cancellation


i have correct answer in textbook but i want process so if you give me the process i will mark as brainiest

5/8 % of 600 Rs.

= 5/8÷100 × 600

= 5/800 × 600

= 1/160 × 600

= 600/160

= 3.75

First you have to cancel the zeros
Hundred has two and 600 also has two
So cut them both ( if it was 60 then you should only cancel one zero in 100)
Then cancel 8 and 6
In twos table there is 8 and 6 so cancel with two. In twos table 8 is 4x2 = 8 so cut eight and put 4 there. Cut 6 and put 3 near 6 because in 2s table 6 is 2x3

We can’t cancel anymore so multiply the numerators and then the denominators and write the answer you will get 15/4
