Great Wall of China. ... Especially famous is the wall built in 220–206 BC by Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Little of that wall remains. The Great Wall has been rebuilt, maintained, and enhanced over various dynasties; the majority of the existing wall is from the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644).

The Great Wall of China was Built over about 2000 years by different Chinese emperors, starting in 475 BCE. This 21196 km (approx )long wall was built to protect China from invading Huns, Mongols, and other tribes, and to unite fortifications into one defence system. It ranks as the World's longest man- structure and is apparently the only one visible structure from space.
