Prime numbers are indeed very essential in our daily life and regular arithmetic sums and problems. Their creation is a miraculous gift to the world of factors & multiples. And it is because of their existence that we have got to know a lot of special facts and figures about other numbers, like - the divisibility rules of various numbers. It has also made the calculations of complicated sums quite easy & comfortable. Most importantly, the prime numbers now stand as one of the pillars of the Number System, which is one of the branches, as well as the most fundamental discipline, of Mathematics; without which, futile endeavour for easy calculations would have recurred every now and then.
