Woman is one of the most pious and humble creatures created by the creator. In India woman is considered as the symbol of love, compassion and devotion. Even then in older days she was not treated with dignity. She was not allowed to do anything of her own choice and remain confined within the four walls of the house. She lived passive life except cooking and rearing children. She did not play active role in society.
Now the time has changed and more and more woman are coming out the four walls. They are striving very hard to be equal to men.

Recently educational changes have provided equal opportunities to explode their unused talents and capabilities for being self sufficient in life as well as to defuse their dependence on men. They share in every sphere of society. Now they play a vital role in social, critical and economic development. Economic crisis has compelled woman to work hard and compare for improving economic status of their family. Now a days the expenses are very high and it is not possible to maintain the household affairs with the earning of only male members, more so in a nuclear family.

In order to meet the expenses it has become necessary for woman to come out of their homes and take the employment. An employed woman has her own identity.

She is no more dependent on anyone. Man and woman work together for the welfare of the family.

No country can progress until and unless the women in that country are free and independent. They present their ideas of improving and developing a country. Working woman is not at all a curse but a boon to the family and nation.

Working woman improves the economic conditions of the house. It helps her to give to her children a better standard of living, better education and better health. Working women are now a day’s becoming the need of the country and family. Women should break off their barrier and come out of house to join the greater world of freedom, self respect, self reliance and independence.
