the importance of sports and  games is being increasingly in India from both educational and social point of  view.more and more are allocated for encouraging sports in schools,colleges and universities.time was when only few children  who were fond of games like hockey,tennis,foot ball e.t.c.were allowed special facilities.but now  regular programmes are drawn up in all schools and universities sports are very important for a student to grow up it strengthen the person.it helps in physical and mental development.so their is the need for every one to participate in sports and games.
