Answer:

This is one of my favourite books (actually... series xD): The Maze Runner. This book is written beautifully by James Dashner and there are now three films based on these series. So if you're asking for my favourite parts... well! Now YOU are asking for SPOILERS! But i like ruining others' books XD so here's a paragraph on it :

Maze Runner is basically about a few kids/teenagers chosen for an experiment to create a cure to a harmful virus The Flare (just like CORONA xD). So some of the chosen subjects are Immune, with which I mean they have absolutely NO influence from that virus. So this flare virus attacks a human's brain and drives them crazy that they EAT the persons around them. Not literally "eat" but it drives them crazy to DEATH. And there's no cure.

So, now, the organization's , which is conducting this experiment for the cure, name is "WICKED" which stands for World In Catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department. They create a maze trials in which the chosen ones would be subjected to "emotions". They'll examine what MAKES those Immune people so different that they are not affected by the Virus.

What WICKED IS doing is GOOD. But. The subjects are the problem for WICKED now. They have to sacrifice their lives, lose their loved ones and all and all.

So, the protagonist is Thomas, one of the subjects. When the subjects are sent to the maze, their memories are removed. So, after entering the maze, Thomas is like, "What the heck am I doing here?" and, so, he forms many friends: Chuck (Chuckie), Newt, Minho and others. In the end many subjects (known as Gladers, as the Glade was the place where they lived in the maze) die. And that's a spoiler. So the best moments for me was when Thomas messed around with Chuckie and Newt. The story's ending is quite dad but the story is very heartwarming❤❤

i strongly recommend you this book!
