Answer:
Script for Morning Assembly compering for kids
This was a teeny-tiny project done for my 8 year old neighbor. She came to me one morning asking if I could write a script for a Morning assembly compering at school. It brought back memories of school, and how much fun I had participating in these activities. I hope this post benefits other kids and their mommies out there who are looking for pointers regarding similar activities.
A and N are the participants.
Script:
Introduction:
N: Good morning to one all present here. I am Chakri.
N: And I am Nana. We’ll be the presenters for today’s assembly.
A: Nana, it’s a beautiful morning, isn’t it? I am so excited to see how the rest of the day goes.
N: Very true, Chakri. A new day means a fresh start and new opportunities. Let’s greet this day with open arms.
Thought for the day:
A: With the new day comes new strengths, new thoughts and endless possibilities.
N: So, to enlighten us and brighten our morning, here comes XYZ with the thought for the day.
News:
A: Nana did you read the newspaper or hear the morning news today?
N: No, I couldn’t as I was in a hurry, getting ready for school.
A: Oh, you needn’t worry as we have ABC coming up with the latest news.
(OR)
A: (to Nana) Don’t you think it’s amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world every day, always just exactly fits the newspaper?
N: (To Chakri with a smile) Yes that is truly fascinating Chakri. (Towards the audience) And to update us with the latest happenings around the world, we have ABC with today’s news.
Song:
A: (Towards the audience) I think everybody can agree that you can hear a certain song and it will put you in a certain mood.
N: Very true. That is the beauty of music. To lift our spirits with a melodious song, here comes XYZ.
Play on Junk Food:
A: That was a beautiful song wasn’t it Nana?
N: Yes Chakri, I am sure everyone enjoyed it.
A: Nana, I didn’t see you the last couple of days. What happened?
N: Oh, I was down with food poisoning.
A: I am glad to see you feel better now. Food borne diseases have become a common occurrence now.
N: Yeah, the main reason behind it is all the junk food joints that have opened up.
A: (To Nana) Very true.
(Towards audience) So, to make us aware about the negative effects of Junk food, here is a play by the students of class 1-A.
Conclusion:
Chakri: (towards audience) That was very entertaining and informative, wasn’t it?
Nana: I hope you all enjoyed today’s assembly.
Chakri: Seize all the opportunities that come your way today, with a smile on your face.
Nana: Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Together: Thank you!
