Hot Weather Season:
The hot weather season in India lasts from March till June. Temperature rises and air pressure falls in this season. Loo which is a hot air blow in this season and dust storm also occur. Pre-monsoon showers occur towards the end of this season.
Cold weather Season:
This season starts from October in this the nights become longer and days become shorter. The rays of the sun does not reach the earth. The air becomes cooler, this season lasts till February and January is the coldest month among all. Even the desert area is colder in this season
Advancing Monsoon:
This season causes a lot of rainfall from south-west monsoon as the winds blow from warm oceans. June to September is the season for monsoon.
Distribution of Rainfall:
Early in the season, the western side receives more rainfall more than 250 cm The maximum amount of rainfall in this season is received in the northeastern part of the country. Rainfall in the Ganga valley decreases from the east to the west. Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat get scanty rainfall.
