Don't get confused by its name as a party.

It's actually a protest by Massachusetts colonists under Samuel Adams.

It was held on 16 December 1773.

And it's main objective was to protest against the tax implemented on tea in Boston.

They protested in 3 ships actually in Boston harbour.
