We can’t. It takes many generations to breed domestic animals—perhaps tens of thousands of years. Meanwhile, “tamed” wild animals like lions and tigers often kill or maim their owners. Remember Siegfriend and Roy? Do a search online with any browser about lions attacking trainers.

Furthermore, there’s no point in breeding domestic sharks or lions. We needed dogs to help us hunt and herd animals. We don’t need lions to do anything like that now. We don’t need sharks to herd fish; we have technology to track them and scoop them up for us.
