Answer:

1) Speed is the distance traveled per unit time. The S.I unit of speed is m/s.

2) An object said to be in uniform motion when it covers equal distance in equal intervals of time. An object said to be in non-uniform motion when it does not cover the equal distance in equal intervals of time.

3) A simple pendulum is an arrangement consisting of a heavy mass suspended freely by a string. I have attached an image of my drawing of a pendulum below that I drew in my school worksheet file. Motion of the pendulum - Oscillatory motion.

4)One oscillation: One oscillation is one complete to and fro motion of the pendulum about its mean position.

Time period: The time taken by the pendulum to  complete one oscillation is called its  time period.

Frequency: The number of oscillations made by  the pendulum in one second is called  its time period.

5) Speed = distance/time

= 540/4.5

= 120km/h

6)Time = diatance/speed

= 1995/19

=105 h

7) The distance traveled is 50m

8) (a) Atomic clocks

(b) Galileo Galilei

(c) sundial, hourglass, candle clock
