                                               My Ambition In Life

My ambition is to become an army officer who has all the abilities and capabilities required to serve my country in the best possible manner. I know it is quite a challenging ambition. But I am going to devote my entire energy and resources to achieve it. The first and foremost thing I have to do is learn time management. I must utilize my every passing moment in a manner that will take me closer to my ambition. The second most important thing I have to do is being self-disciplined. I must have complete control over my mind, body, and soul. The third most important thing i have to do is train my mind, body, and soul through reading, exercise, and meditation.

After becoming an army officer, I will serve my country with heart, body, mind and soul. I will undergo special training to be invincible. I will try to master the latest and most advanced combat skills. I will join the Special Forces team. I will have all the high tech weapons, ammunition, surveillance, reconnaissance equipment; and I will request my officers to post me at the most critical places where terrorists infiltrate or carry out their nefarious secret deeds. I along with the team of my special commando soldiers will hunt them all down and bring them to justice. I along with my fellow soldiers will create such an impregnable wall of security along the borders of hostile neighbouring countries, that none of them will dare to cross the border. If needed, I will go to other countries where terrorists might be actively hiding to kill innocent people in sudden suicide attacks, I will go to those countries; and working with the special forces of those countries, I will hunt those hiding terrorists down and eliminate them.

And during peaceful times, I will go on exchange training programs with other advanced countries, and further hone my combat skills. I will always stay ahead of the terrorists or the enemy country forces in all fighting skills. I will always keep myself fit through rigorous physical, mental, and weapon wielding skills. I will ensure that my country people lived in perfect safety.

During emergencies, I will volunteer myself in rescue operations such as floods, quakes, etc. I will also go to schools and start a special training programme for school children to involve them in  nation's safety and security programmes. I will invite school children to military training academies and integrate military training with school education programmes. There are some very advanced countries where compulsory military training is mandatory for each and every child or citizen of that country. I will start similar training program in my country also.

Answer:

My ambition in life: A Teacher

Having an aim or ambition in life is important for every person. A life having no aim means that a person is living a meaningles life with no direction. Aim in life gives meaning to life. A person is incomplete without an aim in his or her life. Robert Bryne once observed, “The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” In order to get somewhere, you need to define your end goal. A life without a purpose is a life without a destination. We need an aim in life to focus on and put efforts to achieve that aim.

My parents have taught me the value and importance of education in life. I have met so many good teachers from the year I first started going to school. I admire the work they are doing. I often feel sad for them when they do not get the respect and appreciation they deserve. Each one of them is contributing to the education of the children and the youth who will one day become our nation builders.

My ambition in life is to become a teacher. Teaching is a noble and self sacrificing profession. It is not an easy job. The work of a teacher is an entire day at school without rest and several hours at home either checking papers and note books or preparing ourselves for the next day. But teachers don't complain about such things. By teaching the younger generation teachers know that they can build a better future for our society and our nation.

When I become a teacher, I will always teach the children good discipline, good manners, healthy and hygienic habits and moral values so that they can become good citizens of the country. I will try my best to become the role model of a good teacher. I will prepare my notes in advance so that the students can easily learn the subjects. I will explain to them clearly every chapter so that they can learn it easily and also enjoy learning the subjects.

Teaching is not only about text books and note books and giving homeworks. I will try to be a compassionate, a helpful and an understanding teacher. I will teach my students to be hardworking, honest, sincere, confident, and have a positive mind so that they can succeed and achieve their ambition in life. I don't mind that teachers are no longer treated with respect. In fact they face unnecessary harassments from their own students and their parents and guardians. I believe that I can change this situation by being a dedicated teacher with a heart for the students and by trying to understand the problems of parents and guardians.

I don't expect anything as a reward for what I love doing. Seeing my students growing up in the right path, being an asset to the community, and achieving a good career in life will be my most precious and satisfying reward.
