God helps those who help themselves
----------------------------------------------
It is a very true saying that God helps those who help themselves. One may have a firm belief in God and go to the place of worship and pray religiously everyday. And one may fast and perform all the rituals but one has to work to achieve anything in life.
A firm faith in God and prayers, I believe, certainly have their value. A firm faith in God, the belief that he is listening to our prayers and looks after our interests can build our confidence. And yet, this doesn't mean that one merely sits at home and prays and one's wishes and dreams automatically transforms into reality. One has to work the effort oneself. Every aim in life, every goal has to be worked for. So one has to work for every little task too.
Belief in God is important as it gives solace to the mind and heart that there is an almighty force looking after us. One can believe that God grants opportunities, but it is for us to seize it and use it for our benefit.
" Do ur best, god will do the rest ". Mahatma gandhi gave momentum to the struggle for independence in India and he was a very religious man but he didn't just sit at home and pray that India should get independence. At same time, one may fail though works hard but need not get depressed. There is no dividends. There is no need to feel that neither god nor hardwork yields success. As failure acts as a stepping stone to success. So one shouldn't give up and should keep on trying until he suceeds. Thus, I conclude that God helps those who help themselves and firm faith in God coupled with hardwork is the true recipe for success in any sphere of life!
Thanks ^_^
